Katherine Linscott (she/they) is originally from Loveland, Colorado. She received her bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Utah Valley University. There, she helped to conduct research about newlywed sex life. Katherine received her master’s degree from Kansas State University, focusing mainly on intensive trauma and sexual scripts in couples’ sex lives.

Katherine uses a collaborative approach to therapy, using mainly Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic therapies. Katherine believes in the system of healthy mind and body working together and uses grief yoga and mindfulness in sessions. She believes in the importance of honoring the “role of expert” the client has and considers it a privilege to see inside the resourceful and courageous inner system of each client.

Katherine has a special interest working with the LGBTQIA+ community, conflict in relationships, trauma in individuals, immigration/refugees, grief and loss, and assisting clients in appreciating and acknowledging every part that makes them who they are.

Outside of being a therapist, Katherine is a mother of 2 beautiful children and her 6-pound Chihuahua, “Maggie”. Katherine enjoys BMX racing, discovering new foods and cultures, and going down the slide over and over again with her toddler.
