About Emily

Emily is most recently from D.C. As daughter of an Army Chaplain, has been involved in the healing journeys of those facing the premature death or suicide of a loved one from a young age.

In her free time, Emily loves playing video games, biking and film photography. She also loves taking long hammock naps with her husband.

Education and Experienceutah therapist

Emily received her Bachelor’s in Cultural Anthropology from Brigham Young University. She performed embedded research on the relationship between mental health and culture and explored how empathy can be used to bridge cultural barriers. Emily is currently a Master’s student at National University studying Marriage and Family Therapy.

Therapeutic Approach

Emily believes that all people are capable of change and meaningful connection. By reshaping our perspectives and behaviors we open new doors for personal growth and improved relationships.

Emily works with individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life. She works with depression, anxiety, marital issues, teenagers, chronic illness disability and grief counseling. She considers it a privilege to be a part of people’s personal journeys!
